Crosscheck

Crosscheck is a daily crossword where the clues never define a word. Instead, every clue tells you how one entry relates to another.

One word is filled in from the start. From there, you work your way through the grid using clues like “one letter changed,” “an anagram,” or “this word is hidden inside that one.” Each new answer gives you more letters and relationships to use elsewhere.

• Follow clues that connect one crossword entry to another.
• Change a letter, rearrange letters, add or remove letters, reverse a word, or look for one word inside another.
• Use the length of each entry to narrow down possible answers.
• Let crossing letters eliminate possibilities as the grid fills in.
