Playlin'sGuide
NBAGrid is a daily basketball puzzle where your mission is to find NBA players who match specific criteria across a grid of intersecting categories.
Each day brings a new 3x3 grid. Every cell represents the intersection of two filters: a row category and a column category. Your job is to name a player who satisfies both. Think "Played for Houston Rockets" meets "NBA Champion," and you need someone who checks both boxes.
- You have 10 guesses to fill as many cells as possible.
- Type a player name to fill a cell. Autocomplete helps as you type.
- Each correct answer stays locked in. Wrong guesses cost you one of your 10 tries.
- Filters range from team history and awards to career stats like points scored or rebounds per game.
- Lower rarity scores are better. Obscure answers earn you more points.
- A new grid drops every day with fresh combinations to solve.
Why we like it:
- β Rewards deep NBA knowledge without punishing casual fans who know the legends.
- β The rarity scoring system makes you hunt for clever answers, not just obvious ones.
- β Perfect length for a coffee break, whether you solve it all or tap out early.
Hint: Start with the toughest intersections first. Players who bounced around six or more teams are goldmines for filling tricky cells later, so keep a mental roster of journeymen ready.
