Playlin'sGuide
Summit is a daily word puzzle where you fill a triangle of interlocking words using a fixed set of letters, racing the clock to complete the entire structure.
The puzzle is shaped like a mountain. At the base sits a five-letter word. Two more five-letter words climb the left and right edges, sharing letters with the base and with each other. Two shorter words bridge the middle. The top three letters aren't words on their own, they just connect the left and right sides at the peak.
- You're given all the letters you need below the puzzle. Each letter is used exactly once.
- A few letters are pre-filled to get you started.
- Type to fill squares. Arrow keys move your cursor, and the direction flips automatically at edges.
- On mobile, tap a square, then tap a letter.
- You have a limited number of checks to confirm if a selected letter is correct.
- Complete the entire triangle as fast as you can.
The trick is that every word shares letters with its neighbors. Solving one word gives you footholds in others. You're solving five words at once, not five words in sequence.
In the options menu, you can toggle whether completed words highlight immediately or stay hidden until the end. Either way, a new puzzle drops daily.
Why we like it:
- β The interlocking structure makes every letter placement feel like progress across multiple words.
- β Fast enough for a coffee break but dense enough to feel like a proper solve.
- β The speed element is optional, so you can race the clock or just enjoy the logic.
Hint: Start with the edges. The five-letter words along the base and sides have more constraints than the middle words, so locking them in early gives you the scaffolding you need to finish fast.
