Objective

Deduce which five-letter word matches the given C/V (consonant/vowel) pattern by guessing words and tracking how many letters appear in the target.

Playlin'sGuide

Susie is a daily logic puzzle where your mission is to identify a mystery five-letter word in 10 guesses using clues about consonants, vowels, and which letters appear in the word.

Susie gives you a pattern to start. Each letter is marked C for consonant or V for vowel. So a pattern like C C V C C could be BLANK, CHURN, or STUDY. You guess valid five-letter words, and after each attempt, the game tells you how many letters from your guess appear somewhere in the target word. It doesn't tell you which letters are correct or whether they're in the right position. You have to deduce that yourself.

How it works:

  • Each puzzle starts with a consonant/vowel pattern (e.g., C C V C C).
  • Type a valid five-letter word and hit enter.
  • After each guess, you'll see a number showing how many letters from your word appear in Susie's word.
  • No position hints. No confirmation of which specific letters are correct. Just the count.
  • Use logic to narrow down possibilities. Highlight keys grey (not in word) or red (in word) to track your deductions.
  • You have 10 guesses to crack it.
  • A new puzzle drops every day.

The game offers Normal mode (you manually highlight keys based on your deductions) and Easy mode (the game auto-highlights keys and shows logical deductions for you).

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Requires real logical reasoning, not just vocabulary or lucky guesses.
  • βœ…The lack of position feedback makes it trickier than most word games.
  • βœ…Easy mode is a great training ground before you tackle the full challenge.

Hint: Start with words that test different letters across the consonant/vowel pattern. Once you know a few letters are in the word, switch to anagram mode and try rearranging them into valid combinations.
