Which Year

Whichyr is a daily photo dating game where your mission is to guess the year historical photos were taken, using clues from fashion, technology, architecture, and culture to pinpoint moments across 175 years of history.

Each day brings a fresh set of five photos spanning 1850 to 2025. You'll use a timeline slider to make your guess, then watch your points pile up based on accuracy. The closer you land to the actual year, the bigger your score.

• Examine each photo for historical clues and drag the timeline slider to select a year between 1850 and 2025.
• Submit your guess. The closer you are, the more points you earn. Perfect guesses max out your score.
• Stuck? Use a digit reveal to unlock one number from the correct year at no penalty. Each digit can only be revealed once per game.
• Play through 5 photos per daily challenge and compete for the highest total score.
• A new set of photos drops every day.
