The results are officially in! After an incredibly competitive season evaluating 700 daily web games, our judging panel has selected the official winners of the 2025 Playlin Awards. This year’s lineup represents the absolute best in logic, spatial reasoning, trivia, and daily puzzle joy. A massive congratulations to all the developers, creators, and puzzle constructors who made 2025 such a fantastic year for web gaming.
Top Honors: Forgeous & Tiled Words
Taking home the ultimate prize for 2025 is Forgeous, crowned as our Game of the Year (and also picking up the award for Best Game to Pick Up & Play). It’s a masterclass in daily game design that hooked our judges bringing in the highest ratings across all categories.
The community also made their voices heard! The Players’ Choice Award goes to Tiled Words (Runners-Up: Knotilus and Connections), which also secured the Runner-Up spot for Best Word Game. It’s a testament to how strongly its brilliant game design, tile-rotation mechanics, and unique gameplay resonated.
