Playlin Announces the 2025 Playlin Awards

Playlin, the leading discovery hub for daily web games, has announced The Playlin Awards (the Linnys), a new annual program honoring creativity and innovation in short-form, playable experiences.

The Playlin Awards celebrate the games that millions of people fit into their everyday lives, such as word games, logic challenges, trivia and timeline puzzles, and other experiences that have turned daily play into a global ritual.

“Daily games are a cultural phenomenon,” said Craig Dugas, founder of Playlin. “They’ve become the first new shared experience since the social media boom, challenging news and weather as the things we all talk about. The Linnys are our way of recognizing the brilliant minds making that possible.”

Each year, the Playlin Awards will spotlight creators and studios who are redefining what daily play can be, from thoughtful design and storytelling to innovative community-driven experiences.

Nomination details, key dates, and the judging process will be announced as they become available on playlin.io/awards. Winners of the 2025 Playlin Awards will be revealed in January 2026, recognizing the standout daily games and creators that defined 2025.
